Hello Beautiful and welcome to Tru Glam!

Tru Glam was founded by Elizabeth Pierre. A loving wife and mother of three.
The first thing you should know about me is that I am not a Dermatologist nor an expert in skin care, however I’ve done many research to gain my knowledge and experiences.
4 years ago, this journey was inspired by my sensitive skin but more so my daughter.
The last few years, I found myself getting tired of spending so much money on products (prescribed and non-prescribed) and I would continue to break-out badly due to my sensitive skin type.
My daughter who is now 8, was born with bad eczema. If not treated, the eczema will cause her skin to react and cause inflammation all over, not to mention hair loss since she has it in her lower scalp. She would say to me “I hate my skin”, and she would be so scared to show certain part of her skin. She would ask me to cover it up. As an adult and a mother I would never want my child to be unhappy with her beauty.
While using topical prescribed oil or cream, my skin became so immune to it, that it would no longer be effective as it should. I started using my all natural home remedies on my family, and although my products are organic and natural, I love the fact that you can still use the products with your prescribed cream or oil. Let me tell you, I began to see a huge difference in our skin.
I came to the decision to stop using so many different products, chemicals, and wipes on my skin.
My daughter skin has gotten a whole lot better by using the products daily, and most importantly, she has regain her confidence again. Her eczema has lessen and my boys dry skin and acne issues has gotten a whole lot better. I had to learn to be consistent and patient with my products in order to see real results.
With that being said, I prayed about launching my own natural skincare line to help others out there by introducing my remedies. Yes, we live in a competitive world and sometime we will find ourselves being discouraged or challenge towards our future plan however you cannot let anyone or anything stop you from doing what you love.
